BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To conduct NVH testing in the Applications Research Center NVH Laboratory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

1) NVH Test Setup
- Vehicle/System Preparation
- Pre-test Instrumentation Calibration
- Pre-test Instrumentation Installation and system checkout

2) NVH Test Data Acquisition
- Setup B&K Pulse Software for Test
- Acquire Data during test
- Post-test Data Quality Check
- Post-test Instrumentation Tear-down and cleanup

3) NVH Instrumentation Coordination
- Maintain NVH Instrumentation Database
- Instrumentation Check-in and Check-out
- Maintain Routine Calibration Schedules
- Perform/Coordinate Instrumentation repair and replacement

4) QMS System TS 16949

5) Design & Quality Testing

6) Design Equipment Ability

7) Calibration Control of IMT Equipment

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

- Associates degree required: Electronics or Equivalent
- 2 years experience in NVH testing using B&K Pulse (or equivalent) data acquisition systems
- High flexibility and adaptability to change
- Must work well on teams
- Ability to work with tools to disassemble and assemble appliances and cars in a shop environment
- Ability to travel based on business needs
