News SearchAerospace Testing Call For Papersby IEST (05/31/2007)ROLLING MEADOWS, IL (May 16, 2007)… The Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) announces that the 24th Annual Aerospace Testing Seminar will be held April 8-10, 2008, at the Manhattan Beach Marriott in Manhattan Beach, California. The abstract deadline is June 18, 2007. Those interested in making presentations at the Seminar are invited to submit an abstract of 200 words along with an author biography, author contact information, and suggested session placement. Session subjects include test philosophies, standards, and efficacy; ground segment test; strategies and methodologies; innovations in test facilities and equipment; instrumentation, data acquisition and evaluation; modeling, analysis, and simulation; system integration and test using flight software; management of test and people; on-orbit testing and evaluation; and testing challenges for human-related space systems.
The Aerospace Testing Seminar (ATS) is for engineers, managers, and leaders to share their experiences, discover new methods and procedures, and learn how others are coping with designing and implementing cost-effective test programs. The prestigious Otto Hamberg Award will be presented to the author(s) of the paper that best addresses this year’s theme, “The Way Forward,” and exhibits technical excellence in paper content and presentation.
